    
Plutomic Hosting Virtual Private Servers are powered by Xen, the leading open source hypervisor for servers. Plutomic Hosting's Xen VPS's utilize a hardware virtual machine (HVM) guest environment, which allows any operating system to run on the VPS without even knowing that it is on a virtual environment. The hypervisor is tasked with creating, deleting, and managing the resources of "guest" operating systems, or virtual machines. These guest operating systems are allocated a share of resources of the physical server, typically in a manner in which the guest is not aware of any other physical resources save for those allocated to it by the hypervisor.
